Opera 101This 30 to 45 minute presentation is led by either Sacramento Opera’s Artistic Director or Executive Director. A brief retrospective of the history of opera, each program includes recorded musical excerpts, and where possible, a brief video presentation. In addition, participants will receive an overview of Sacramento Opera, including programs and services. Opera 101 programs are available throughout the year. Fee: $200. Opera à la CarteA perfect program for a lunch or dinner break, this presentation features one of Sacramento Opera’s Young Artists who will be joined by either the Artistic Director or Executive Director in an entertaining selection of familiar arias and lively interactive discussion about opera and singing. Opera à la Carte also provides a unique opportunity to see and meet one-on-one a young artist in the making! Programs may range from 30 to 45 minutes in duration and require a piano. Fee: $400.
