Puccini's La Bohème: A perfect Mother's Day gift

It's better than flowers! Share Puccini's heartfelt opera La Bohème with your Mom this May. Part of the inspiration for the popular Broadway musical, Rent and the film Moonstruck; La Bohème follows the story of young bohemians living in Paris, a poet, a painter, a musician, and a philosopher who long for a deeper connection to society, to one another, and in the case of the poet Rodolfo, to the beautiful but frail seamstress, Mimi. This production features some of the greatest arias and music in the repertoire and is not to be missed. Call 916.808.5181 or visit tickets.com to secure your seat today! Tickets start at $15.

(P.S. You might experience a few theatrical snowflakes on your seat if you sit in the first three rows of the main floor!)

Lt. Col. Frederick W. Shadle

The Sacramento Opera production of La Bohème is lovingly dedicated to the memory of long-time volunteer and generous supporter, Lt. Col. Frederick W. Shadle, 1917-2009, for service above and beyond the call of duty. For many years, he meticulously recorded the Sacramento Opera productions, casts, stage directors and conductors, and facilitated every rehearsal of the company until he "retired" a couple of years ago. He will be sorely missed.
